Bob Ross

My name is Bob Ross; I am a certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor as well as a full time Phoenix Firefighter/ Paramedic. In 1997, I retired from the USAF’s elite Pararescue; I am married and have four children who are all athletes that use kettlebells. I sustained a back injury that altered my life (for a few years); I was told by my doctors that I could receive a medical retirement because of the severity of the injury. On my yearly physical examination for the Phoenix Fire Dept., I refused to perform the deadlift test because of my back problem. But with the help of advanced strength training, conditioning, and kettlebells taught by Russian Kettlebell guru, Pavel Tsatsouline, I was able to heal my back. The next year I was able to deadlift 452 pounds for my annual physical exam. Kettlebells have also provided me with explosive increases to my functional strength and endurance. I continually educate and teach others in proper fitness and health. Some of the recipients of my training include Firefighters, Military Special Ops. members, athletes, friends and a host of others with phenomenal results. The desire to use these training tools, rather than sidelining myself from an active life, makes me want to help others learn the secrets of attaining great strength, endurance, and speed, while promoting proper body mechanics and health. I train people from Flagstaff to Phoenix and anywhere in between.
